I was born and brought up in Digboi , where the First Refinery of Asia It was Owened by a British Company called Burmuah Oil Company with their H.Q in London – They had stakes in British Petroleum Castrol Lubricants is located where my father was working as General Manager – Technical . I did my schooling from Digboi and graduated in Commerce from Gauhati Commerce College and did my LLB from Gauhati University Law College. Presently I am working as Assistant General Manager – P A in Ms. Soma Enterprise Limited , Hyderabad and our company is involved in infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining Soma I was working for about 10 years for the Times of India Group as the Branch Manager of their Guwahati Office looking after all the 7 North Eastern States.

Assam famous for its one horned Rhinos and Assam tea, Assam Silk , Orchid and so many other things . I am intelligent, simple, loving, caring, sensitive, emotional, has a good sense of humor, God fearing and posses pleasing personality. I like to go for long drives and enjoy listening to good music. Cooking and gardening are my hobbies. I play tennis and badminton. I also like to go for fishing. I also like to read books. I enjoy dancing and partying. I am divorced and have one son who is not living with me. I would describe myself as confident, calm, friendly, caring, honest, reliable, genuine, cheeky, playful . I have a great sense of humour and am looking for same in a partner. I am also emotionally and financially secure.
